Great coffee spots in Bruton
Bruton, a picturesque town nestled in the heart of Somerset, England. I treat patients as an Osteopath there and am often asked where the great coffee spots in Bruton are for my patients to relax in after a treatment. Here’s my favourites so far.
Bruton itself offers a perfect blend of history, charm, and natural beauty. Known for its stunning architecture, Bruton Abbey and t St. Mary's Church, the town has long been a haven for artists, writers, and those seeking a peaceful escape. From its vibrant food scene to the beautiful landscapes of the Mendip Hills near by, Bruton is a hidden gem that attracts visitors looking to experience the quintessential English countryside.
Here’s my favourite spots:
A delightful bookshop with café, very welcoming and idiosyncratic. A great find.
As reviewed in The Good Food Guide a hidden local gem of a place, I whole heartedly agree - especially as a book lover.
Hauser & Worth - Roth Bar & Grill
Great live jazz trio on Sunday evenings at Roth Bar.
A stunning vibrant place to visit with Farm Shop, Restaurant and Café, with art exhibitions and more.
The Chapel is a myriad of rooms to explore. In the basement are classes of all kinds. The bakery and shop have too many tempting items and the Restaurant is worth a visit. I also recently discovered that I could take Sophie my dog upstairs above the restaurant where I found I could sit peacefully and tap away updating my notes.
This wonderful spot is know for its private dinning experiences, however they do a fantastic Breakfast on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This is fantastic for me as I treat patients in Bruton on those days.
